Cape Cross Lodge.

A hotel-style lodge directly on the beach of the Skeleton Coast, about 120km north of Swakopmund and roughly 4km from the gate of the Cape Cross Seal Reserve — the closest proper accommodation to the seal colony. Its 18 standard sea-view rooms and 2 luxury suites all look straight onto the Atlantic, with ground-floor rooms stepping onto the sand and upper rooms opening onto salt-air balconies. Guests can arrange excursions to the seal colony, the Messum Crater, coastal angling trips and boat cruises, and browse a small on-site museum and art gallery.
