A Desert & Delta Safaris lodge on the western bank of the Boteti River, perched on a cliff-top overlooking the river where it forms the boundary of Makgadikgadi Pans National Park. Its name means "footprints of the lion," and the lodge is renowned for the annual dry-season migration of up to 30,000 zebra and wildebeest that gather at the river below. Its 12 thatched, glass-fronted suites are built on raised decks, with a riverside hide, boating safaris when the Boteti flows, and cultural visits to the village of Khumaga.
