Kwando Safaris' Tau Pan Camp is the first and only permanent safari camp inside the Central Kalahari Game Reserve, Africa's largest game reserve. It sits atop an ancient sand ridge overlooking Tau Pan — "Lion Pan" in Setswana — a waterhole famed for the deep roars of the Kalahari's black-maned lions. Activities include day trips to Deception Valley and the Sunday, Piper and Passarge Pans, Bushman-guided nature walks, and stargazing from an elevated firepit deck.
