The world's leading cheetah research and education centre near Otjiwarongo, offering feeding talks, guided drives and conservation tours.

Founded in 1990 by Dr. Laurie Marker near Otjiwarongo, the Cheetah Conservation Fund is the world's leading research and education centre dedicated to saving the cheetah, the most endangered of Africa's big cats. The centre runs a visitor programme including feeding talks, a museum on cheetah biology, and guided drives to see resident cheetahs — many rescued from human-wildlife conflict and unable to return to the wild.
CCF's work with local farmers, including its Livestock Guarding Dog programme, has become a global model for predator-friendly agriculture, making a visit here as much about conservation science as wildlife viewing.
