A community-managed concession on the Okavango Delta's eastern edge, offering night drives and walking safaris alongside Moremi.

Khwai Community Area occupies the unfenced eastern edge of the Okavango Delta between Moremi Game Reserve and the Chobe ecosystem, managed by the local Khwai community rather than as a state-run park. With no fences and no limit on vehicle numbers set by national park rules, wildlife moves freely between Khwai and its neighbouring reserves, making for exceptional sightings of lion, leopard, wild dog and vast elephant herds along the Khwai River floodplain. Community-run campsites and a handful of safari lodges offer night drives and walking safaris not permitted in the adjacent national park, adding activities unavailable just across the boundary.
